A more gentle class, inviting you to pause and reflect. Yin works on a physical, emotional, energetic and mental level. Focusing on holding poses for a longer period of time held 3 to 5 minutes to effectively activate the Meridian lines which are our energetic pathways. Incorporating the use of props such as bolsters and blocks we support the body allowing for opening to occur. Yin targets the deep connective tissues, fascia, tendons, ligaments, bones, joints and blood. Creating a gentle stretch, enough to create a healing response in the body. Ending in a blissful shavasana with the Crystal bowl.
