Terms For Space Hire

Bamboo Buddha is a unique tropical oasis in Holgate on the Central Coast. It is a special venue, a place to be nurtured, revitalised by nature and connect with likeminded people. We aim to create a tranquil, inclusive and fun energy in our space. Our intention is to bring people together to experience conscious workshops and classes for the community. 


We have 3 spaces for hire. Our 3 spaces include Lotus Room, Art Gallery and Team Building Space, as well as the entire venue for special events.


Lotus Room

Our spacious multi-purpose LOTUS ROOM is approximately 6.5 x 10m and soundproof. It has air conditioning and can fit approximately 20 yoga mats. It is suitable for a range of activities including yoga, meditation, drawing, sound healing, workshops, massage, etc. 

Price: $50ph (Day rate 9am - 4pm - $300) | Minimum 2 hour space hire.

What is included in the Lotus Room? -


  • 16 yoga mats, 16 blankets, 20 bolsters, & blocks.
  • 20 chairs and trestle tables 
  • Projector & whiteboard
  • Professional surround sound system with phone/tablet jack
  • Wifi


Art Gallery 

Our large, covered exhibition space offers an open yet cozy feel surrounded by large Bamboo plantations. Here you have a range of seating options, art display space and lighting, and a charming large featured well, as a unique buffet table in the middle.  From functions, to life celebrations, to dinners, the Art Gallery can host a wide variety of events.


Price: $100ph / Day rate discount) | Minimum 2 hour space hire.

  • Wifi
  • Tables + chairs
  • Gallery wall space for art exhibitions
  • Day bed

  • We can arrange a PA system
  • TV screen for slideshows
  • Tea + Coffee


Team Building Space 

This outside space is perfect for those hosting a course, a team building day or a meeting that isn't held in your typical office space. You can comfortably fit 12-14 chairs around our large wooden table, overlooking the fish ponds and Bali style huts. Covered with palms and sails, with dappled light peaking through, you leave feeling like you've been on vacation while working.

Price: $50ph (Discounted Day rate available) | Minimum 2 hour space hire.

What is included in the Team Building Space?

  • Wifi
  • Buffet space
  • Long wooden table + chairs



Included in your booking we can share and promote your event via our large community on social media if required. With over 10k on FB + over 5k on IG, we can help attract your dream clients and participants to your event.

You will also receive a listing on our online events calendar. 


Event Operating Hours

Tuesday + Wednesday: 9-5pm

Thursday, Friday +  Saturday: 9-9pm

Sunday: 9-5pm



We have onsite parking at the venue for approximately 18 cars. We encourage car-pooling for larger gatherings.


Room hire requirements (Please read before securing your booking.)

***Facilitators must hold current public liability insurance. Please provide evidence of this upon booking. *** 

- Facilitators acknowledge and abide by our terms and conditions upon payment. 

- A Working With Children Check is required if hosting an event for children.

- First Aid Qualification provided by Yoga + Breath + Body work teachers.

- Room hire times must include adequate time to set up, pack up and clean the room. 

- Incense, sage, and candles are permitted if used safely. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure there is no candle wax on the floor. A $50 fee will be charged if wax is left in the space as it is very time consuming to remove.  All candles must be used in holders that are safe and stable. 

- Facilitators acknowledge there will be a cleaning fee if the room has not been swept efficiently, mopped if necessary. (Cleaning equipment is stored in the store room attached to the Lotus room.)

- If using loud music, doors must be closed to respect our neighbours. 

- Maximum capacity 60 people for the entire venue.

- Any repairs to paintwork, floor, appliances or any breakages will be charged accordingly. 

- It is the hirers responsibility to ensure your participants register for your event/ access Bamboo Buddha / find their way around.

- Please only tag @thebamboobuddha on IG & FB and not BB staff members' personal accounts.

- Please make sure you review our check in and checkout doc before your event.

Cancellation and refund policy is as follows: 

  • If cancellation is more than 4 weeks in advance to the date of your event, you can receive a full refund, minus the $40 admin fee. 
  • If cancellation is under 4 weeks to the date of your event, there is a $100 cancellation fee.
