Kundalini yoga; The yoga of awareness.
Kundalini yoga is a practice of uniting the finite and the infinite within you through the energy of your own creative potential.
Also known as the science of angles and breath, it uses angles in physical postures (asana) along with mantra, mudra and breath to move the creative energy, to increase vitality and awareness.
The primary purpose of a modest kundalini yoga practice is to strengthen the container for the energy of kundalini, to increase awareness and decrease the fluctuations of mind; ie expand the space of the neutral mind.
We achieve this in the yoga by physically challenging our nervous system so we can increase its capacity, using mudras (hand gestures) and repetition of mantra to settle the mental fluctuations and using breath practices to increase the energy
In kundalini yoga the most important thing is your experience. It goes right to your heart. No words can replace your experience. Your mind may accept the words or it may not, but your consciousness will not accept just words
